Main Street announces Monetra® release 6.2
Main Street Softworks, Inc., the premier provider of high performance, integrated electronic payments software, today announced the public release of version 6.2 of the Monetra® payment server software. Upgrading to this new release is recommended for all current users.
The Monetra version 6.2 release introduces updated certifications and product enhancements.
By default, Monetra now uses SQLite as a database engine, replacing MCSQL. The database layout has been consolidated and enhanced for better performance. A new function was added to request card_type data prior to an authorization. Alongside system enhancements, First Horizon Merchant Services(FHMS)
and Paymentech Salem were re-certified and the First Data Atlanta(Concord) protocol was enhanced for end of day procedures.
Monetra version 6.2 is licensed, distributed and supported across all major operating systems. Native server builds are currently available for Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, IBM AIX, SCO Unix, Sun Solaris, Apple Macintosh OS X, and Microsoft Windows® systems, including Windows Vista.
